This is suggested structure for your covering letter:

Dear Mr./Ms./Dr. LastName:
(Include the company contact’s name if you have it. Otherwise use “Dear Sirs”)
Paragraph 1 – Introduction:
Introduce yourself to the hiring manager and show interest in the organization, also explain why you would like to be part of it. For example: I’m an experienced [insert job title – Production Worker] looking to discuss with you the current requirements your company has, and how my skills may fulfil those.
Paragraph 2 and 3 – Description:
Use these paragraphs in order to get an employer interested. You need to explain how your skills, experience, attributes and achievements match the job vacancy. Tell the employer why you are the right person for the job. For example: I worked within the industry for over [insert years experience], I have developed a wide range of skills that would meet, and exceed the expectations for the role. In the final part of letter show positive statement or question that will motivate the employer to contact you. Email Cover Letter tips
In case of e-mail, list your name and the job title (e.g. Production Worker) in the subject line of the email message. Include your name and contact information in your email signature, and don’t list the employer contact information. Start your email message with the salutation. Use a neutral e-mail address.
